Jean Hughston Norman, 87 years old, passed away on July 4, 2022 in Seminole. Jean was born in Crowell on November 8, 1934 to Thomas and Mabel Hughston. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Jim Paul Norman, of 58 years; siblings Beverly Flesher and J.T. Hughston.

Newer, moderate water restrictions set by mayor

Last week, the recent water restrictions set for the City of Seminole proved to be very beneficial, said City Manager Adam Niolet. “Jeff (Rose) reported to me that there was almost a 50 percent reduction in usage over that period,” noted Niolet.
