O’Rourke Race Gets Boost From Soros The corporate media has made a big deal out of recent news that Beto O’Rourke has surpassed Texas Governor Greg Abbott in fundraising for the 2022 governor’s race during the reporting period from February 20 through the end of June. It should come as no surprise since leftists from coast-to-coast are aware that Texas is the ultimate prize in electoral politics.

EMS CAMP Twenty local youngsters, ages 8-11, attended the EMS Camp on Monday, July 25, and were given a life-saving lesson on CPR. The two-day camp will be offered to residents ages 12-18 on August 1-2 from 8 a.m.

On Monday evening, July 18, the Seagraves City Council called a special meeting in which they approved an ordinance prohibiting the drilling of "private water wells" within the city limits of Seagraves. Mayor Rick Dollahan added that all existing private wells in the city "are grandfathered."

Two Gaines County residents who were subpoenaed to appear in Gaines County Commissioners Court for failure to sign the lease on their hangar at the county airport were present on Wednesday, July 20. The men spoke to the judge and commissioners concerning their objections to several items on the current agreement.

On Wednesday, leaders from various departments and entities within Seminole and Seagraves met in the community center for an active threat roundtable facilitated by Police Chief Bernie Kraft. The purpose of the meeting was to discuss and review action plans for any event that would jeopardize the lives of Gaines County residents, whether at one of the schools, the hospital, or any other area where a large number of people gather.

Two sisters from Seminole are competing today at the Stars and Stripes Tumbling Championships being held in Phoenix, AZ. Angela Baros will compete in the 11–12-year-old age group and Victoria Baros will compete in the 13–14-yearold age group.
