Victoria Denise McKenzie

Memorial services for Victoria Denise McKenzie, 38, of Plains were held on Thursday, April 18, 2024, at 10:00 A.M, at the First Baptist Church in Plains with the Rev. Patrick Hamilton officiating. A celebration of life was held Wednesday, April 17, 2024, at 6:00 P.M. to 7:30 P.M. in the Ratliff Funeral Home Chapel in Denver City. Arrangements were under the direction of Ratliff Funeral Home in Denver City, Texas.

Victoria passed away on April 12, 2024, in Lea County, New Mexico. Victoria was born to David Martinez Sr. and Maria Reyna on May 6, 1985, in Austin. She achieved two bachelor’s degrees one from Texas A&M, and one from Texas Tech.

Victoria was preceded in death by her mother, Maria Reyna.

She is survived by her husband, Lonnie McKenzie; a daughter, Emmie McKenzie; two sons Gus McKenzie and Gabe McKenzie; her father, David Martinez; two brothers, David Martinez Jr. and Anjuli, Tyke Dyer; her father and mother-in-law, Tommy and Jan McKenzie; brother and sister-in-law, Cody and Jana McKenzie; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
