On September 19, 1952, Bob was born to Galena and O.M. Cosby Jr. in Memphis, TX. He married Jane Kailey on March 26, 1977. He graduated from Texas Tech University with a BBA in finance and was involved in banking for 34 years. Bob loved being outdoors – fishing, golfing, hunting, and shooting sports. He greatly enjoyed high adventure activities such as sky diving and zip lines – anything that went fast. He also loved the Texas Tech Red Raiders, college sports, and his country. Most of all, Bob loved people, whether it was visiting with a stranger or catching up with old friends. Serving his community and helping those in need was important to him. He loved the Lord and his family deeply. They made many great memories traveling and exploring the world together.

Survivors include his wife, Jane Cosby; their children, Kay (Cody) Ainsworth, Julie (Jake) Washburn; brother-in-law, Steve (Kim) Kailey; sister-in-law, Barbara Kailey; and niece Elizabeth Kailey.
