SEAGRAVES -- Graveside services for Joan Billings, 84, of Seagraves will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday in the Gaines County Cemetery in Seagraves with her son-in-law David Henning and grandson Brad Billings officiating.

Services are under the direction of Ratliff Funeral Home of Seagraves.

Joan passed away February 11 in Lubbock. She was born July 26, 1936 in Trent to W.P and Walter Pearl Phillips Scott. Joan graduated as salutatorian of the 1953 class of Tahoka High School. She married Tommy Joe Billings on February 28, 1954 in Tahoka. Joan was a farmer’s wife and homemaker and LOVED being “Nana” to her grandchildren and greatgrandchildren. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Seagraves.

Joan was preceded in death by her husband Tommy Joe on September 25, 2017, grandson Jeremy Quisenberry Billings and brother Kenneth Scott.

Joan is survived by her sons Lee Billings and wife Pam, Danny Billings, daughter Jan Henning and husband David all of Seagraves; her grandchildren TJ Parks and husband Gary, Brad Billings and wife Brittany, DJ Billings, Cory Whitten and husband Hayden, Kaci Churchill and husband Nathan; her great-grandchildren Cassie, Colton, Tristin, Trace and Grayson; and her sister Wilma Faust of Las Vegas, NV.

Joan (Nana) enjoyed watching all sports, especially the Red Raiders, Dallas Cowboys, and Kansas City Chiefs. She fiercely loved her family and enjoyed any occasion spent with them. The family suggests in lieu of flowers that donations be

Family and friends visitation will be Friday, February 19 from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. in the Ratliff Funeral Home Chapel of Seagraves.
