Funeral services for Jackie NaKina Carson, age 81 of Seminole will be held Friday, February 15 at 10:00 a.m. at Transformation Church with Pastor Tod Delay officiating. Burial will follow at Gaines County Cemetery. Family will host visitation Thursday, February 14 at Boyer Funeral Home from 6 to 8 p.m. All services are under the direction of Boyer Funeral Home.

NaKina Carson was born August 14, 1937 in Seminole, Oklahoma to Izella (Ryal) and William Robertson. She was a non-denominational Christian and loved to tell people about Jesus; she also loved listening to praise and worship music. She became an ordained minster in 2003 and taught in prison ministry. In her spare time she enjoyed reading, crocheting and water painting. NaKina loved being with her grandchildren.

Jackie NaKina Carson passed away at her home in Seminole on Sunday, February 10, 2019. She is preceded in death by her parents and one son Billy Blake.

She is survived by one daughter, Reva Langley and husband Larry Ray of Seminole; three sisters, Georgeanna Genzer of Seminole, Marcella Chesser and husband Arnold of Georgia and Lynda Caswell and husband Jerry of Meadow; five grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
