Funeral services for David Peters, age 57 of O’Donnell will be held Thursday, April 8, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at Reinlander Mennonite Church in Seminole with Henry Reimer officiating. Burial will follow at Reinlander Mennonite Church Cemetery. All services will be under the direction of Boyer Funeral Home of Seminole.

Mr. Peters was born June 1, 1963 in Mexico to Aganetha (Neufeld) and Cornelius Peters. He married Sara Ham in 1982 in Mexico and was a member of Reinlander Mennonite Church. He had lived in O’Donnell since 1998, moving there from Mexico. Mr. Peters worked as a farmer and he enjoyed fishing. He loved his family dearly; his greatest joys in life were family gatherings and especially the company of his grandchildren.

David Peters passed away at his residence in O’Donnell on Saturday, April 3, 2021. He is preceded in death by his father. He is survived by his wife, Sara of O’Donnell; five sons, Henry Peters (wife Anna) of Lamesa, David Peters (wife Katerina) and John Peters (wife Eva), both of Brownfield and Cornelius Peters (wife Aganetha) and Jacob Peters (wife Lena), both of Seminole; three daughters, Maria Fehr (husband Peter) of Alberta, Canada, Anna Fehr (husband Peter) of Lamesa and Aganetha Peters of O’Donnell; his mother Aganetha Peters of Alberta, Canada; seven brothers, Johan Peters (wife Suzanna) of Bolivia, Cornelius Peters (wife Agatha) and Jacob Peters (wife Suzanna), both of Mexico, Peter Peters (wife Katherina) of Brownfield, Henry Peters (wife Suzanna) of Seminole, Willie Peters (wife Margaret) of Needmore and Abe Peters (wife Tina) of Welch; four sisters, Anna Friesen (husband John) of Alberta, Canada, Elizabeth Neufeld (husband Henry) of Mexico, Eva Fehr (husband Peter) of Brownfield, and Aganetha Fehr (husband Henry) of Argentina; and 35 grandchildren.
