Curtis Joe Adam, 37, of Midland, passed away on September 25, 2018 surrounded by his family. The family received friends on Friday, September 28, 2018 from 7:00 p.m.-9:00 p.m. at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home in Midland. Funeral services were held on Saturday, September 29, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Chapel in Midland.

Curtis was born on December 18, 1980 in Andrews to Ron and Kathy Adam of Seminole. Curtis’ greatest accomplishment was his daughter Chloe. He and his wife, Mary Catherine, met in November of 1997, and were later married in August of 2004. Curtis began working in the oil and gas industry thirteen years ago for Pioneer Natural Resources. He is an amazing husband, father, son, friend and carpenter, a trait he learned from his father.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Joe and Carolyn Averett, paternal grandfather James Adam, and great-grandmother Annie Ulmer.

He is survived by his wife Mary Catherine, their daughter Chloe, his parents Ron and Kathy Adam, his brother Clay and his sister Amanda Brock.

The family would like to express their gratitude towards Pioneer Natural Resources, Hospice of Midland, and ALS Association Texas Chapter for all their support and guidance over the last three years.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The ALS Association Texas Chapter in Curtis’ name.
