Billy Ray Grisham

Funeral services for Billy Ray Grisham, age 78, of Seminole were held Monday October 8, 2018 at 10 am at St. James Catholic Church with Fr. Jose De Dios Gonzalez officiating. Burial followed at Gaines County Cemetery. A rosary was said on Sunday, October 7, 2018 at 6 pm at the Boyer Funeral Home. All services were under the direction of Boyer Funeral Home.

Mr. Grisham was born August, 22, 1940 in Gorman to Aubrey and Dale Grisham (Wolfenbarger). He married Delia Sendejo on April 10, 1989 in Lamesa. Mr. Grisham worked in the oilfield the majority of his life; he enjoyed fishing, watching wrestling, frequenting casinos, and spending time with family and friends, especially with his granddaughter, Juli-Ana. He was an excellent storyteller, gleaning from his past. He was a dedicated worker and committed provider for his family.

Mr. Grisham passed away peacefully at home in Seminole on October 5, 2018 surrounded by his family. He is preceded in death by his parents and one brother, EJ Grisham.

He is survived by his wife, Delia Grisham of Seminole; three sons, Jeremy Grisham of Seminole, Tommy and Natalie Grisham of Temple and Donny Grisham of Navasota; one brother, Buster Grisham of Colorado City; one sister, Dona and Marvin Baucom of Leuders and eight grandchildren.
