Adult Winter Reading Program Underway at Gaines Library System

The Gaines County Library system had launched their annual Winter Adult Reading Program, which will run through Feb. 28.

The winning prize in the contest is a $200 gift card. The Adult Reading Program is made possible through the support of the Friends of the Gaines County Library System.

Readers from Gaines County can participate at either the Seminole branch, located at 704 Hobbs Hwy., or the Seagraves branch, located at 311 Hill St.

Reading goals and rewards for this year's program are as follows:

● 1st 650 pages: a lanyard and a guess for the guess jar;

● 2nd 650 pages: earbuds and a guess for the guess jar;

● 3rd 650 pages: string bag and a guess for the guess jar;

● 4th 650 pages: name goes into a gift card drawing and a guess for the guess jar, and;

● every 650 pages after: name goes into drawing and you keep guessing at the guess jar.
