Dr. John Stevenson (Steve) Hill lost his long battle with cancer and heart disease on Tuesday with loved ones by his side.

He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Jana; three sons, Kelley Hill, Sean Hill and Ryan Hill; four grandchildren, Marki Vaughn and husband Neal, Brendan Hill and wife Nikkie, Makenzi Hill and Everly Hill; one great-grandchild, Blake; four siblings, Doris Anderson and husband Craig, Katy Scroggins and husband Don, Sherry Brewster, and Collin LaFollette and wife Jackie; and many cousins, nephews and nieces.

Rusty O’Neal Oldham was born in Andrews on March 21, 1980 to Harry Eugene and Tawana Kathryn Oldham. He died working in Texarkana on Monday, January 21, 2019 of a heart attack. Even though he was the youngest of three, he was the best “big” brother his sisters could have. Rusty spent as much time as he could outdoors during his childhood, especially when the family moved across from Lake Sweetwater and he could fish and swim constantly with his dog Bo. His love for fishing and the water continued throughout his life.

Katharina was born August 6, 1950 in Chihuahua, Mexico to Johan and Maria Buhler Thiessen. Katharina and Abraham Friesen were married May 25, 1974 in Mexico, and he preceded her in death February 2004. She was a homemaker.

Funeral services for Peter Reimer, age 67 of Seminole were held Friday, January 18, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. at Reinlander Mennonite Church with Rev. John Loewen officiating. Burial followed at Gaines County Cemetery. All services were under the direction of Boyer Funeral Home.

Mr. Reimer was born March 3, 1951 in Mexico to Maria (Fehr) and Cornelius Reimer. He married Aganetha Giesbrecht in Mexico on December 13, 1976. He was a member of Reinlander Mennonite Church and worked as a farmer.
