Funeral services for Christopher Gene Mullings, 33, of Seminole were conducted Friday, June 7, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. in the South Seminole Baptist Church with Rev. Pat Githens officiating. Interment followed in the Gaines County Memorial Cemetery with services under the direction of Ratliff Funeral Home of Seminole. Chris passed away Sunday, June 2 in Hobbs.
Chris was born March 12, 1980 in Seminole to Henry and Kathy Mullings. He was a self employed welder. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Raymond and Nora Mullings and great-grandmother Lela Jeter.
He is survived by three daughters, Kalie, Anna and Brooklyn Mullings all of Warrenton, Missouri; his parents, Henry and Kathy Mullings of Seminole; two sisters, Tammy Perez and her husband Freddy and Tonya Guffey and her husband Guy all of Seminole; grandmother, Bea Jeter; grandparents, Leroy and Betty Jeter all of Brownfield; a niece Marissa Perez and three nephews, Presley Perez, Ryan and Kevyn Guffey.
Pallbearers were Derek Connally, Jeremy Davis, Brock Milloy, Brandon Hicks, Brad Sims, Shane Davis, Jacob Grado and Adam Hargrove. Honorary pallbearer was Brady Pipkin.
