Funeral services for Marvin "Tiny” Moore, age 73 of Seminole, were held Monday, March 4, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. at Westside Church of Christ with Leo Copeland officiating. Burial followed at Seagraves Cemetery in Seagraves. All services were under the direction of Boyer Funeral Home.
Mr. Moore passed away Thursday, February 28, 2013 at Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock, following an auto accident. He was born July 21, 1939 in Brownfield, to Annie Bell (Blackwell) and Normal Andrew Moore. He married Margaret Chambliss in Brownfield on November 16, 1964.
Tiny was a backhoe operator and owned Moore’s Dirt Work for twenty-three years, and also worked for Gaines County Precinct 2 for seven years. Tiny was a hardworking man. He enjoyed coins, old cars, car shows and spending time with his family. He is preceded in death by his parents and one infant son.
He is survived by: wife, Margaret Moore of Seminole; one daughter, Melissa Reece of Seminole; one brother, Joe Moore of Kansas; on sister , Louise Marie McGlaun of Lubbock; two grandchildren, Lilly and Dakota Reece of Seminole.
