SEAGRAVES--Funeral services for Elvira Cantu Perez, 64, of Seagraves will be conducted on Friday, November 9 at 10 a.m. in the Inglesia Bautista Jerusalem Church with the Rev. Paul Nieto officiating.  Interment will follow in the Gaines County Cemetery in Seagraves.  Mrs. Perez passed away on November 5, 2012 in Lubbock.
Mrs. Perez was born on December 1, 1947 in Laredo to Gabino Soto and Paula Luna Cantu.  She married Sabino Perez on December 18, 1987 in Seminole and was a homemaker.  She was preceded in death by one daughter, Gloria; by her parents; one brother, Manual Soto and by one sister, Teresa Torres.
Survivors include her husband, Sabino Perez of Seagraves; two sons, Joe Zamora of Seminole and Sabino Perez, Jr. of Seagraves; two grandchildren, Jonathan Christopher Zamora and Logan Joe Zamora; three brothers, Fernando Soto, Efrain Soto, and Rolando Soto all of Seagraves; five sisters, Zulema Martinez and Raquel Flores both of Seagraves, Maria Soto of Laredo, Mercedes Zamora and Juanita Alonzo both of Seminole and a host of nieces and nephews.
