Valerie “Val” Reimer

Funeral services for Valerie "Val” Reimer, 45, of Seminole will be held Wednesday (today), September 26, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. in the Gospel Mission Church.  Interment will follow in the Gaines County Cemetery under the direction of Ratliff Funeral Home of Seminole. She passed away Saturday in Lubbock.

Val was born October 14, 1966 in Mexico to David and Bertha Plett. She and John Reimer married in Mexico on January 5, 1986 and moved to Seminole in 1987. Val was a homemaker who enjoyed working in the yard and loved flowers.  She was also very active with the Prison Ministry in education.  Her father preceded her in death on October 11, 2011.

Val is survived by her husband John Reimer; their two sons, Kendall and wife Anna and Jason all of Semiole.  She is also survived by a brother, Wesley Plett and sisters Marlys Reimer, Eliva Kornelsen, Arlene Loewen and Myra Plett.
