Aug. 28 -- Seminole Police Officers made contact with a subject parked in the 600 Block of SW 20th as a welfare check.  Upon investigation officers learned that subject was in possession of a controlled substance.  The subject, Ricado Marquez, 33 of Seminole was placed under arrest and transported to the Gaines County Jail.

Aug. 29 -- Seminole Police Officers were dispatched to the 2100 Block of Hobbs Highway in reference to criminal mischief.  A report was taken and an investigation is underway.

Aug. 29 -- Seminole Police Officers stopped a vehicle in the 700 Block of South Main for a traffic violation. Investigation revealed the driver and passenger to be in possession of marijuana.  Steven Lee Manahan, 20 of Levelland and Jesse Steve Casarez, 19 of Vanderbilt were arrested and transported to the Gaines County Jail where they were booked in for their charges.

Aug. 29 -- Officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle in the 500 Block of SE Ave G for a traffic violation.  The driver was identified and did not have a driver's license. A computer check showed that the driver had been cited for no DL two other times in the past. The driver, Jacob Thiessen Wieler, 17 of Seminole was arrested for no DL enhanced and transported to the Gaines County Jail.

Aug. 30 -- Officers stopped a vehicle in the 1000 Block of Hobbs Highway for a traffic violation. The driver was found to have a suspended driver's license and no proof of liability insurance.  The driver, Allan Michael Carrasco, 24 of Odessa was arrested for driving while license invalid.  He was transported to the Gaines County Jail for the charges.

Aug. 30 -- Officers stopped a vehicle in the 200 Block of North Main for a traffic violation.  Further investigation showed the driver to be in possession of drug paraphernalia.  The driver, Nathan Luz Ramirez, 17 of Seminole was arrested and transported to the Gaines County Jail.

Aug. 31 -- Officers met with a subject at the Seminole Police Dept. in reference to found property. Officers took possession of the property and are in the process of locating the owner.

Aug. 31 -- Officers stopped a vehicle in the 1200 block North Main for a traffic violation.  Upon contact with the driver, officers saw signs of intoxication.  After testing the driver, Henry HIldebrand-Elias, 54 of Seminole was arrested for driving while intoxicated and transported to the Gaines County Jial.

Sept. 1 -- Seminole Police Officers conducted a traffic stop for an equipment violation on a silver four door vehicle, in the 700 Block of South Main. Upon investigation officers learned the driver did not have a drivers license or vehicle liability insurance. The driver, Thomas Ignatius Burkett, 55 of Chicago, Illinois was placed under arrest and transporte to the Gaines Count Jail for booking.

Sept. 1 -- An officer with the Seminole Police Department conducted a traffic stop in the 2200 Block of North Main.  The officer detected an odor of burnt marijuana coming from the vehicle.  A vehicle search was done and drug paraphernalia was found. The driver, Gage Quincy Helms, 20 of Hobbs, NM was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia and booked into the Gaines County Jail.

Aug. 1 -- Seminole Police Officers were dispatched to the 1100 Block of SE 2nd Street in reference to a domestic dispute.  Upon arrival officers spoke with the victim and a report was taken.
