Gaines Co. Sheriff's Dept.

May 21 -- Deputies with the Gaines County Sheriff's Office stopped a vehicle 10 miles south on Hwy. 385 for a traffic violation.  Upon an investigation a female passenger, Alicia Torres, 24 of Odessa was placed under arrest for possession of drug paraphernalia and was transported to the Gaines County Jail and booked on her charge.

May 21 -- Gaines County Deputy Sheriff was dispatched to Nadine Road between CR 337 and CR 341 in reference to a theft of a utility trailer. The deputy arrived and a report was taken and it is under investigation.

May 23 -- Gaines County Sheriff's Deputy stopped a vehicle about one mile north of Seminole on Hwy. 214 for a traffic violation. The driver of this vehicle was found to be wanted by the Steward County, KS Sheriff's Office for an outstanding warrant. Omar Ontiveros Torres, 22 of Seminole was arrested on the warrant and booked into the Gaines County Jail.

May 23 -- Gaines County Sheriff's Deputies responded to Gaines County Farm Road 1429 in reference to an unresponsive subject.  In the course of the investigation the subject was found to be in possession of a controlled substance. The subject, Francisco Jesus Sierra, 35 of Semionle was arrested for the possession of a controlled substance and transported to the Gaines County Jail.

May 24 -- Gaines County Deputies took a report of a dog bite causing pentrating injury.

May 29 -- Gaines County Sheriff's Deputies took a report of a stolen bicycle. During the course of investigating the offense, the bicycle was recovered by Gaines County Deputies. An investigation is underway.

May 31 -- Gaines County Deputies stopped a motorist in the 1500 Block of US Hwy. 385/S for traffic violations. In the course of the investigation the driver, James Torres, 23 of Seminole was found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia.  Torres was arrested and transported to the Gaines County Jail.

May 31 -- Deputies with the Gaines County Sheriff's Office stopped a vehicle in the 1100 Block of SE 7th. The driver was found to have consumed alcohol as a minor. The driver was arrested and booked into the Gaines County Jail for driving under the influence of alcohol by a minor.

June 1 -- Gaines County Sheriff's Deputies spoke with a complainant that stated they had been receiving harassing phone calls at different hours of the day and night.  An investigation is underway.

June 2 -- Gaines County Sheriff's Deputies received a call in reference to a theft that occurred on CR 349 two miles south CR 422. Several tools were tkaen from the location. Information and poctures were gathered of the scene and an investigation is underway.

June 2 -- Gaines County Sheriff's Deputies received a call in reference to a theft that occurred on CR 434 three and one-half miles east of CR 438. Several tools were taken from the location. Information and pictures were gathered of the scene and an investigation is underway.

June 3 -- Gaines County Sheriff's Deputies were dispatched to Stateline RV and Cabins in reference to a domestic dispute. A report was taken.

June 4 -- Gaines County Sheriff's Deputies stopped a vehicle about 10 miles north of Seminole on Hwy. 3385 for a traffic violation.  The driver of this vehicle was arrested and booked into the Gaines County Jail for possession of drug paraphernalia, no insurance and expired license plates. The passenger of this vehicle was arrested and booked into the Gaines County Jail for possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.  Arrested were Kimberly Nichole Carouth, 26 of Brownfield and Isaias Valles, Jr., 25 of Seagraves.

June 4 -- Gaines County Sheriff's Deputies served an outstanding warrant out of Gaines County at a residence located on Pioneer Road. The subject, Edward Ray Weathers, 52 of Seminole was arrested for the warrant and transported to the Gaines County Jail for booking.

Seminole Police Dept.

June 4 -- Officers with the Seminole Police Department met with a complainant at the Seminole Police Department in reference to sexual assault of a child.  An investigation is underway.

June 6 -- Officers stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation.  During the stop officers observed drug paraphernalia in the vehicle.  Further search found marijiuana in the vehicle. Danny Dorman, 55 of Jal, NM was arrested and booked into Gaines County Jail.

June 7 -- Seminole Police Officers were dispatched to the Wingate Hotel in reference to a fight in progress. Officers found the subjects in the parking lot.  Roy Rangel, Jr., 28 of Denver City and Michael Dwaine Anderson, Jr., 31 of Crowley were arrested and transported to the Gaines County Jail.

June 8 -- Seminole Police Officers responded to the 800 Block of SE Ave G in reference to an intoxicated driver.  The driver, Felipe Morales, 30 of Andrews was detained pending an investigation.  The subject escaped detention and resisted arrest. He was transported to the Gaines County Jail.

June 9 -- Officers with the Seminole Police Department took an indecency with a child report. An investigation is underway.
